Santa's Ranch - A Unique Christmas Light Experience

Just north of San Antonio off of the 35 sits Santa's Ranch.  Known as "One of the Greatest Light displays in all of Texas," Santa's Ranch certainly lives up to it's reputation!  Sit in the comfort of your vehicle and drive through over a mile of beautifully animated Christmas displays. You can also stop at the drive-thru concession stand to pick up your favorites like kettle corn, hot cocoa, and a number of souvenirs.  

We LOVED the the displays. You start your journey through Santa's Ranch with traditional Texas imagery and displays featuring local attractions,  it then moves into iconic national displays and landmarks, followed by various scenes Biblical scenes including childhood favorites such as Creation, Noah's Ark, Jonah & the Whale, David & Goliath, the Nativity, the Cross, and an empty tomb.  It was a wonderful experience for our family to be able to travel through the Bible and share the story of Christ and the real meaning of Christmas. It was fun as we were driving through to take turns narrating  the scenes and hearing the kids' excitement when they  recognized different parts and shared their thoughts.  After the journey through the Bible, you enter a winter wonderland, filled with classic Christmas imagery and displays.

The entire trip through Santa's Ranch was exciting and engaging. All around, it was a great visit. You can really see the thought and care poured into each design. And what an incredible way to share the joy and magic of Christmas - my family truly enjoyed our visit and our son has asked to go back multiple times!  Go check it out for yourself!  I highly recommend spending some time with your family this holiday season at Santa's Ranch.
