The museum’s current exhibition, VISUAL VOICES: Contemporary Chickasaw Art, shares the compelling contemporary visual story of the Chickasaw Nation through more than 55 works of art.
To get a hands-on experience for the kiddos, your prize will also include a Briscoe’s “Bring Home the Briscoe” boxes from the museum store! Filled with fun crafts, the box contains supplies for activities focused on understanding the many beautiful and diverse Native groups of the West like Ledger Art, mini canoe carving, basket weaving, pinch pots and more.

You can also experience Native American Heritage Month virtually, the Yanaguana Indian Arts Virtual Celebration this Saturday and Sunday, November 21 and 22. This year the festival takes place on the museum’s website with demonstrations, performances, workshops and virtual tours.
Also, This Saturday is Locals Day at the Briscoe, giving Bexar County residents 50% off of general admission. As always, Briscoe admission is free for children 12 and under and for active duty members of the military and up to four members of their families.
