It's that time of year again! The Elf is Back on the Shelf!
Every year, I try to do a theme with our Elf, Jingle Bell. Last year, we did a Christmas Giving Elf, and Jingle Bell encouraged my son to do an act of kindness each day as we did a countdown to Christmas. This year, I decided to do a "Punny Elf," because my son LOVES to tell jokes...and to be honest, who doesn't love a good pun?
So, to help y'all with spreading some Christmas cheer, I've created a FREE Christmas Printable with 31 Christmas-themed jokes. Just click the link, print them, cut them out, and have fun and a good laugh with your kids as your elf leaves a daily joke! Get creative!
For example:
What do elves eat for breakfast? "Frosted Flakes!"
- Our Elf had dumped out part of a box of Frosted Flakes and was popping out of the top of the box
What do elves learn in school? "The Elf-abet"
- Jingle Bell got into the sticky-notes and covered our pantry door with a letter on each sticky-note. He was hanging on the door knob with the joke taped next to him.
